This styled elopement on Lake Como, Italy was truly a dream come true. Yana and Giuseppe boarded this classic wooden boat in Argegno and we set sail to the tiny village of Nesso, a spot that will forever hold a place in my heart since I actually got engaged in this very spot the day before! 

All of the villages dotted along the mountains of Lake Como have a distinctly different feel—some incredibly luxurious and others more quaint & full of character. Nesso was my personal favorite village that we visited with its colorful homes sprawling in every direction up the mountainside, all surrounding the most stunning bridge with a waterfall towering behind. I couldn’t dream of a more picturesque or romantic spot for an elopement.

As our boat approached the Nesso bridge, I captured the awe on Yana and Giuseppe’s faces. We were all completely silent for a moment, soaking in the incredible view as the boat passed under the bridge and glided between the cliffs to reveal an unobstructed view of the waterfall.

Despite this breathtaking setting, their love is the kind that truly steals the show and fills every space they enter.  The details of their gallery are hands down my favorite—the gentle way that Giuseppe brushed the wisps of hair from Yana’s face, the adoration in her eyes as he helps her onto the boat. Truly a day that we will all remember for years to come.
